“There is only one place where a conscription law is drafted, and that is in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee,” Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Chair, Yuli Edelstein

On Monday, Edelstein issued a message to the ecIsrael public stating that his office was going to begin the work of changing the wording of the laws. Edelstein invited the whole of the Israel public.

In the last weeks. Netanyahu held meetings with Heradi leaders prior to the actual Edelstein gathering at the KFAD office. Netanyahu criticized Edelstein stating that a broad based bill would put the government at risk of falling—that following Edelstein’s comments stating the current success during former discussions.

Ultimately, the meeting between Edelstein and Cabinet members influenced their decision about exiting the Likud government. Netanyahu stated that it is Edelstein’ s ultra-Orthodox enlistment bill that places the government at risk.

Following Edelstein’s statement involving the A-O bill, several United Torah Judaists stated their concern with the plan and threatened to walk out on their Cabinet post—a number of which stated their interest in remaining members of the coalition. The move, according the Netanyahu, would weaken the government .

During his talks with Netanyahu, Edelstein informed the Israeli government that he has exited the coalition—a move that delays a decision being made in regard to the Defense Ministry and its Security Service law. Edelstein’s move I combing the coalition, he says, is, in part, a result of the IDF.

That which becomes apparent to Netanyahu is that Edelsyrin’s decision is directly aligned with the resigned Israel Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant. The plan by Gallant supported efforts at disdolbi g the current government

On Wednesday, Edelstein described a situation that involved drafting a new law that would be faced with the utter impossibility of arriving at an agreement between the ultra-Orthodox and the Likud MKs.

It has been suggested THST following the fall of the Rabbis Bill, that ultra-Orthodox have lost the support of Netanyahu and express the arrival at the ultimate fate of the Ultra-Orthodox agreement with the Knesset.
