POLITICS: Today, Senators Chuck Schumer and House Minority Speaker Hakeem Jeffries have issued a request put to the DNC in regard to US President Joe Biden Schumer and Jeffries have asked that the DNC convention be postponed until
matters involving the President's health are confirmed.

In the last hour, the scheduled arrival to the UNIDOS US convention by President was canceled. The apparent cancellation, according to the report, indicated that the President has received a recent report on his health and was caused to cancel his speaking event scheduled for the UNIDOS US convention.
Formerly the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) (La Raza), UNIDOS US Mistress of Ceremony, President, Janet Murguia, addressed the gathering of members to inform the group that she spoke with President Joe Biden. today, and indicated that the President expressed his apologies adding that he would not be present with UNIDOS US members to deliver his speech.
Today, there remained some speculation expressing unconfirmed information in regard to the President’s status that quickly circulated in Washington involving Biden’s cancellation. Some, among Democrats who, like Congressman Adam Schiff, quite apparently received ambiguous information and seemed to assume the meaning of the cancellation was an ultimate candidacy drop out. However, later, today, President Biden’s team confirmed that the President had not dropped out of the president’s race and , however, had paid a visit to his physician and subsequently received a positive result for his COVID-19 test.
As Senator Schumer and Congressman Jeffries take steps to delay the start ofthe DNC convention, the delays are not meant to state any change in Biden’s status. The lawmakers have stated that Biden is expected to remain the Democrat’s nominee. The COVID-19 test results only represent a temporary delay in the routine election associated-convention process.
Given the delays made in regard to the DNC convention, there will, also, be delays in the convention’s voting process. Today, it is evident that while Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi msy rank among a total of 21 Democrats who have stated their position in reference to Biden’s stand in the race, the majority of Democrats continue to stand with President Biden as the Democratic nominee.
