Biden will complete the full 2020-2024 presidency after such time the President states that he will step back and allow the Democratic Party to move forward with the presumptive nominee and her selection for a running mate.

While Congresswomsn Nancy Pelosi, Senator Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries have not made any formal announcements, a number of DNC nominating officers; Progressives like Primila Jayapal, Progressive Caucus Chair and Annie Kunster, New Democratic Coalition Chair Annie Kuster, have stated their plan for doing everything that they can for nominating Vice President Harris and ensuring that Biden’s baton pass will lead to a Kamala Harris Presidency.
On Sunday, just days short of accepting the DNC nomination for US President, Vice President Harris reacted to US President Joe Biden’s endorsement indicating that Harris is well suited for being the next US President. Harris commented in that regard stating that she is “honored” to have received the President’s support for the run for President, 2024.

Vice President Harris’ status appears to have improved over the last month. In a number of polls, Harris leads with higher ratings compared to that of Donald Trump.
