STATE & NATIONAL: This week, following the announcement of Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the presidency, New York Attorney General, Letitia James has announced plans for 1st; assisting the Harris with securing the nomination and 2nd; working at championing Vice President Harris’ cause for defeating Fonald Yrump in November.

The last week of political action has been a virtual blasting bomb of a good sort. First, the announcement by US President Joe Biden that he would not be running for office shocked the nation after several interviews during which the President stated that he was in the race to the end. Biden’s decision changed as his plans erupted in the disbelief on the part of some that had , over the last 3.5 years, remained his staunch supporters.
Biden released a recorded statement to the U.S. public commenting in regard to his decision to step down outbif the race for President as he extended his enforcement for the 2024 DNC nomination and run for President to US Vice President Kamala Harris.
Today, as the Harris for President momentum continues to grow, the excitement by women in America seems to be growing with alacrity.
Today, Attorney General Letitia Kames commented from her office in New York City stating her stance with electing President Kamala Harris as her primary objective. Today, James responded to the question asking whether she would accept a post in the Harris administration to which the Attirney General replied, “at this point in time, “ James stated she is “…continuing to stand up for the rule of law and representing the citizens of the great state of New York, as we do each and every day."
New York Attorney General Letitia James is one among a growing list of women who have stated their support for Vice President Harris.
In the campaign to win the presidency, Vice President Harris may have the support of a vast group of Smericans whose causes she supports. Harris is tough on gun laws, supports healthcare for veterans, the elderly and for Americans with preexisting ailment.
More than this, Harris has gained to resounding US support of millions of women who will vote for their reproductive freedom— a law that, during her Michigan rally, Harris stated she will sign the instant Congress passes its reinstatement when she is elected President.
Vice President Harris rallied in Houston, Texas speaking during the American Federation of Teachers Conference on Thursday and is expected to travel to Austin , Texas on Monday to speak at tge Lyndon Bain’s Library in commemoration of the 1964 Civil Rights Act signing by former U.S. President, Lyndon Bains Johnson.
