STATE & NATIONAL: On Friday tge jury responded with a verdict in the case that involved a new born baby being left in freezing temperatures after the mother gave birth in the woods. Today, the New Hampshire jury returned a guilty verdict on the charges filed against the mother who was convicted of reckless conduct and endangering the welfare of a new born.

In a Manhattan, New Hampshire court, the jury in the Alexandria Eckersley reckless conduct case, the 27 year old mother was charged and convicted on all, but one charge. The jury in the Eckersley did not find the mother who abandoned her baby in the woods guilty of assault charges.
It was on the night of Christmas that , then, 25 year old, Alexandria Ervkersley, daughter of MLB Hall of Fame pitcher, Donald Erckersley, gave birth to a child she stated in court, she never knew that she was withchild .
According to police report, Eckersley delliveted the new born in a tent, stating that, at the time she was homeless and on drugs.
