Last night represented a milestone; an historical event that might only compare to the Glienke Bridge ; the ‘ Bridge of Spies, ‘ when the US traded Russian spy, Rudolph Abel for US pilot, Francis G. Powers. The most real, however, by dome thought unbelievable—the 4 prisoners, previously held in Russian prisons, were greeted by President Biden and Vice President Harris on the White House lawn.
Hours before the landing, Biden was joined by 9 members of the families of the 4 US prisoners who anticipated the return while waiting inside the Oval Office.
Several ofthe family members who waited patiently for return of each of the prisoners spoke with their loved ones before the landing.
Back inthe United Ststes, US President Joe Biden and US Vice President, Kamala Harris met up with the released prisoners at the Joint Base Andrew’s in Prince George county, Ma.
