US President Biden & First Lady Dr Biden Revisit El Paso Mass Shooting Killed 23 on The 8/3 Anniversary


POLITICS: On August 3, 2024, US President Joe Biden along with First Lady, Dr Jill Biden, revisited the anniversary of the mass shooting that transpired in the city of El Paso , Texas . President Joe Biden commented that the he and Dr Biden extend their condolences to the families of those whose lives were lost as a result of the act of hatred that occurred at the hand of a lone gunman.

Biden stated that while the mass shooting occurred 5 years ago. the work to end gun violence continues.

Today, President Biden posted comments online stating his heartfelt sorrow for the 23 families whose loved ones’ lives , he stated, “ were stolen…” from the Latino community.


“We must disarm hate and support survivors of these heinous acts.” — US President Joe Biden


In 2022, President Biden commented, stating that he signed one of the most significant measures of legislation in 30, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act ensuring that gun violence will be diminished. Biden stated that while the bill is, already working to stop gun violence inthe US, there is still more work to do.


Biden commented that his administration created the first White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention to drive and coordinate an all-of Government, nationwide effort to reduce gun violence in America.


Biden commented that the added essential work will require investing in the community and in accountable policing and stopping the flow of illegal guns.


President Biden indicated that gun violence must stop ravaging U.S. communities stating that now is the “…time to ban assault weapons. It’s time to establish universal background checks. . It’s time to end immunity for gun lobbyist.”


Biden expressed his gratitude for the community of El Paso, its people who have shown their support to the President for the efforts being made over the last 5 years since the devastating massacre in 2019.


President Biden committed to continue to work to end gun violence in America as a step forward in responding to the heartfelt sorrow in the hearts of the 23 family members in El Paso..
