Hurricane Debby Strikes Bend Bend Florida Coast Moving N Northeast-3 Reported Dead

STATE & NATIONAL: In the early morning hours, hurricane Debby touched down in Florida. Debby has reached the Florida Gulf Coast as it moves n northeast at 10 mph.

On Monday, Hurricane Debby made landfall in the Big Bend region of Florida. Debby continued to move northeast toward the Suwannee River Valley as the storm system made into way across Florida.


Hurricane Debby’s intensity diminished during its strikes upon the Florida coast however remained a category 1 Hurricane carrying winds of 80 mph.


Debby continues to move inland to the northeast carrying high winds and tornadoes. Flooding is expected to continue to create dangerous travel conditions through early Tuesday.


Today, as Debby moves further into Florida-inland , weather warnings have been issued to 29 counties that are expected to be overwhelmed by tornadoes, 30 counties will be issued flood warnings.
