US & GLOBAL: In Paris, US Olympic athletes have proven their excellence in areas of competition , recently winning the gold in Basketball, Teack and Field, Cycling and Gymnastics.

Leading this week’s winners, NBA Basketball campion, Steph Curry has a masses wins in 5 separate Olympic categories taking the gold in each.
Others who have added to the quite innocently egotistical comportment of a majority of US Olympic champions are among the nation’s top athletes who have worked long and grueling hours to earn their victories.
The U.S. teams had a fantastic performance in both the men's and women's 4x400 meter relays at the 2024 Paris Olympics:
In the Men's 4x400 Meter Relay, the U.S. team, anchored by Rai Benjamin, won the gold medal with an Olympic-record time of 2:54.43
Representing them in the Women's 4x400 Meter Relay, the U.S. women's team, featuring Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, won gold with a time of 3:15.27, just 0.1 seconds shy of the world record.
In Omnium Cycling, Jennifer Valente of the U.S. defended her title and won gold in the women's omnium race
