POLITICS: On Monday, US President Joe Biden stated his plan for eliminating tax on tips. The policy that was set in motion prior to Vice President’s espousal of such a bill has now been embraced by Biden who states he will sign the no tax on tips bill if it reaches his desk.

In Washington, the recent conversation surrounding the President’s ‘ no tax on tips bill is a measure that is encouraging to US hospitality workers and is supported by most significant members of Congress and the Senate. Biden has gained support for the no tax on tips bill including comments made in regard to its approval by US candidate for President, Kamala Harris.
Today, US Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre indicated that US President Joe Biden supports the bill and is fully supportive of “ eliminating taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers whike, also, raising minimum wage…”
The actual bill was introduced in the Republican majority Congress and has , since, taken on momentum with the left.
The introduction of such a bill, according to some financial analysts, may give way to the possibility that increasing annual returns that are void of tax on tips have the proclivity to stem national debt. Most analysts state that a limit based on the income(s) shoukd accompany the bill.
Despite the disputations made during analysts’ discussions, President Biden has adopted the Trump assisted measure as one that may prove to be viable for the status of U.S. hospitality service workers.
