The popular coffee house, Starbucks , has accepted the resignation of its year long CEO. According to the company’s top officials, Laxman Narasinhan was not meeting the high economic standards set by the Starbucks owners.

Expected to exit the company by September 9th, it has been in the last year that Narasimhan has remained with Starbucks as profits gradually declined.

In response to the short fall, Starbucks sought to curtail its losses , calling in one of the industry’s well known marketers—enter Brian Nicole. Nichole, who has a reputation for pulling struggling restaurants out of the sink, one time Taco Bell CEO will leave Chipotle to assume the CEO position at Starbucks within a matter of weeks.

Commenting In regard to his new post, Niccol has expressed his excitement for making the move to Starbucks. The change in command as CEO will result in Nichols taking on 10 times the responsibility that he held together during his stent with Chipotle.

As mentioned before, Nicole has a reputation for pulling companies back together. The move for Nicholas may simply represent an opportunity, similar to the 1950s McDonald’s economic explosion that occurred as a result of Ray Kroc. Of course, the already well established, ‘biggie sized’ coffee company will avoid a similar type of take over.

Of course, Starbucks’ massive expansion to nearly 40,000 stores at the company’s retail coronation created the need for its CEOs to run for profits like the Paris 200 meter Olympiad, Gabby Thomas, tge company has managed to maintain its stellar position over the last 53 years.
