NATION: During a recent press conference, Vice President Kamala Harris discussed a number of new proposals for assisting families with cutting cost and saving money. Incorporated in her proposals are adjustments that will have an impact on the US economy.

Working to favor the American public , Vice President Kamala Harris stated the many adjustments made that will be included in the IRA. Adjustments like preventing price gouging by grocers, allowing Medicare officials to negotiate prices with Big Pharma companies, lowering the out of pocket cost for prescription drugs for Medicare recipients are among a few of the other adjustments proposed that are associated with the Inflation Reduction Act.
Vice President Harris has highlighted several key adjustments in the Inflation Reduction Act aimed at assisting families and impacting the US economy positively. Other adjustment to be addressed by Harris are the steps being taken to
1). secure clean energy and clean water
2.). For those on Medicare, out-of-pocket drug costs are capped at $2,000 per year, providing substantial savings for seniors
3.). The Act includes investments in clean energy and energy efficiency, which are designed to lower utility bills for families
4). The Act extends Affordable Care Act subsidies, lowering healthcare premiums for millions of Americans
5). Significant funds are allocated to tackle the climate crisis, which includes investments in clean energy projects and infrastructure improvements
The measures that will be addressed by Harris are part of a broader effort to reduce costs for families, create jobs, and promote economic stability.
