NATION: The nationally renown Dr Anthony Fauci , hospitalized while suffering with the West Nile virus, is reportedly doing much better. Fauci been hospitalized for the last 10 days after noticing symptoms ofthe West Nile flu virus.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former top U.S. infectious disease expert, was hospitalized after developing symptoms like fever, chills, and severe fatigue due to West Nile virus.
Dr Fauci spent one week in the hospital being treated for the rare virus. More recently following treatment Fauci was able to return home to complete his recovery.
According to the report, Dr Fauci likely contracted the virus from a mosquito bite in his backyard. Some who have recently experience similar symptoms and what seemed to be a case of Rhinovirus described having been bitten by a rather odd appearing, small, black, flying insect —a mosquito—one such bug that resembles a fly.
West Nile virus is primarily spread by mosquitoes and is the leading cause of mosquito-borne disease in the continental U.S.
There are no vaccines or specific treatments for it, but most people infected do not feel sick. According to accounts provided by a few who have recently experienced the symptoms and have remained undiagnosed, the recovery is closely similar to that which would be done to treat the common cold. However, doctors recommend taking extra cautionary measures by receiving treatment for the symptoms which can, also, become quite severe.
Today, flowing his hospital stay, Dr. Fauci is expected to make a full recovery.
