US Vice President Harris Comments on Afghanistan War onthe Anniversary ofthe U.S. Exodus

NATION: As the nation takes a look into the past conflicts that held the United States in a state of flux, embroiled in wars that were of direct impact to US national security. The U.S. military has, however, quite often remained situated in the sole position of providing defensive assistance to other countries. One such war is that cited by US Vice President Kamala Harris who mentioned her stand along with US President Joe Biden in the administration’s decision to end U.S. involvement in Afghanistan.

Today, US Vice President Kamala Harris commented in regard to the situation THST developed in Afghanistan that thrust US soldiers into one of the nation’s longest wars. Harris spoke , Todsy, on the anniversary of the U.S. decision to end its involvement in Kabul and other regions of Afghanistan.


As the US remained engaged in a war by which American soldiers provided help to the , then, weakened Afghanistan military, more than 2400 US soldiers were killed while 20,744 were injured.


Vice President Harris recalled meeting a number of the US soldiers, survivors of the vicious battles between ISIS and U.S. troops. Harris stated that she met with soldiers during the time she served as a U.S. Senator stating that it was her impression that the American troops were among the fines “possessing skill, discipline and dedication.”


During her comments Vice President Harris stated how she admired the US troops for their immense pride in their service and inthe strength, courage and excellence of the U.S. military.


Harris stated that she will uphold the obligation of the highest office inthe United States. Harris, in the most honorable position to serve as the first woman to become the United States commander-in-chief, states, today that she will fulfill the “ sacred obligation to care for our troops and their families adding, “ I will always honor their service and sacrifice.”


The U.S. Candidate for President, US Vice President Kamala Harris stated, today, that she stands amid a reticent, Cold War; one of the greatest battles facing the United States which is the fight to fulfill the promise of America—a promise of freedom, opportunity and equality.
