Rapper “ Fatman Scoop” 53, Collapses On Stage & Dies


STATE & NATIONAL: Rapper Fatman Scoop, whose real name was Isaac Freeman III, tragically passed away at the age of 53. A report made , today, provides details of the Rapper’s death stating that he collapsed on stage during a performance in Hamden, Connecticut on August 30, 2024.

Farman Scoop reportedly experienced a medical emergency while performing and was immediately taken to the hospital. Despite efforts to revive him, he sadly did not survive.


Fatman Scoop was known for his energetic performances and had a significant impact on the music industry, collaborating with artists like Missy Elliott and Mariah Carey.


Through his his hype energetic style, Farman had several popular tracks that left a significant mark on the music industry. Some of his most well-known songs include:


“Be Faithful” - This track, featuring the Crooklyn Clan, became a worldwide hit and is perhaps his most iconic song.


“Lose Control” - A collaboration with Missy Elliott and Ciara, this song reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won a Grammy for Best Short Form Music Video.


“It’s Like That” - Featuring Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri, this track was another major hit.


“Pro Freak” - A collaboration with Smino and Doechii.
