Billionaire Business Mogul Buffet Is Judge By Christy on Social Security Retirement Pension

STATE & NATIONAL: Chris Christy lashed out at Warren Buffet over the professed billionaire's collecting a Social Security benefits payment. What is found to be perplexing is that Christy claims to be informed of Buffet’s personal circumstances. Despite his likely lack of the self professed billionaire’s personal financial position, Christy lashes out, lauding over Buffet while claiming he should not be is eligible for collecting a Social Security retirement pension

Chris Christie criticism of Warren Buffett involving his wealth status. The GOP politician complained against Buffet’s current Dovisl Security pension status indicating that people like Buffett —a 94 year old American—should not be collecting Social Security benefits.

While Warren Buffet, like most other Americans who retire, may be eligible to collect on the portions of their taxes paid into the Internal Revenue Service, Christy complained while failing to provide specific evidence that Buffett is ineligible for Social Security.

According to the report involving the matter, Chris Christy’ argument was based on the principle that Social Security was designed as a safety net to prevent poverty among the elderly, not as a benefit for the wealthy. Christy’s understanding of the SSA retirement benefit is false.

In reality, eligibility for Social Security benefits is determined by the amount of payroll taxes an individual has paid over their career. Not unlike any other retired American, Buffett has paid taxes and he, too, is technically eligible to receive benefits.

Christie’s stance is more about the suggestedly ethical implications and the original intent of the Social Security program while, however, neither Chris Christy nor most others are directly or documentedly informed of Warren Buffets financial bottom line.
