US Candidate For President Harris Responds To Trump Criticism of Afghan Withdrawal


NATION: Today, there has been much in the way of criticism coming forth surrounding the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. In reaction to the ongoing viral critique emanating from the Trump camp, Candidate for US President Kamala Harris has entered comments that vehement rebuttal those made by Trump.

Aside from the blatant comments by former President Trump that were made to Russian President Vladimir Putin criticizing the action taken by the US government and Biden administration, today, Harris speaks up in defense the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan indicating


The Trump opinion has been echoed by critics who have added to the clamor surrounding the Afghanistan withdrawal while, however, there comments invariably overlook the consequential event that situated the Taliban at the forefront of the exodus by U.S. forces.


Following tge victory by the Biden-Harris team in the 2020 election, Trump side critics have added opinionated commentary stating the withdrawal was poorly planned and executed, leading to chaos, especially at Kabul airport, where thousands of Afghans and foreigners scrambled to flee as the Taliban engaged in frequent gun fire.


From the opposing side of the aisle, there has been significant criticism suggesting the abandonment of Afghan allies, including interpreters and other personnel who supported U.S. forces.


Amid negotiation that were conducted involving the U.S. exit, eventual agreement by tge Trump administration led to the rapid takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban. Those events have been cited as a failure of U.S. intelligence and planning.


While the plan executed by the Biden administration found that a number of significant allies—those who also worked with the United States—were among the Americans who exited during the withdrawal.


President Biden has defended the decision, stating that there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces and that staying longer would not have changed the outcome.


The Biden administration points out that the withdrawal was based on an agreement made by the previous administration under President Trump, which set a deadline for U.S. troop withdrawal.


Some argue that, in the future, the focus should be on addressing the humanitarian crisis and ensuring that Afghanistan does not become a haven for terrorists.
