POLITICS: Today, US President Joe Biden has reacted to the murder of Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, a 26-year-old American woman of Turkish descent. Today’s report from Israel indicates that Eygi was was tragically killed on September 6, 2024, during a protest in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

According to the report disclosing details involved inthe incident, Eygi was participating in a demonstration against illegal Israeli settlements in Beita, Nablus, when she was shot in the head by an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) sniper. Despite being rushed to Rafidia Surgical Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.


The incident has drawn significant national and international attention and condemnation, highlighting the ongoing tensions and violence in the region.


The U.S. ambassador to Israel, Jack Lew, expressed deep condolences and emphasized the need for a thorough investigation.
