NATION: In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the second general election presidential debate of 2024 is scheduled for September 10, 2024, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Tonight’s Presidents’ debate will be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Tonight’s debate will be a 2 hour session with only two commercial breaks. Candidates for President are Democratic contender, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President and Republican seeking a return to Washington, Donald Trump

During the debate, ABC moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis will request responses from both candidates. Broadcast on ABC News the debate will be simulcast on other networks, including CBS. Each candidate will have a set amount of time to respond to questions and engage in rebuttals, ensuring a structured and fair discussion.
The US Presidential debate is scheduled to be conducted from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern Time. The duration of time allows for a comprehensive discussion on a variety of topics, giving each candidate ample time to present their views and respond to questions.
