“When we passed these laws we made a commitment to build America for all Americans.” — President Joe Biden
Today, US President Joe Biden reminds Americans of the law that has provided assistance to millions of Americans with disabilities.

President Biden commented, today, in reference to the state of US aid to disabled Americans, stating that there was a time when the disabled could be denied and an employer could refuse to hire. Today, Biden reflects on how the ADA has changed the direction taken by the US leading those with disabilities toward a better promise for their future.
In regard to its passage, the ADA has had a profound impact on the lives of millions of Americans as the law mandated accessibility features such as ramps, Braille signage, and lifts on public transportation. The ADA hade followed a course of social and economic improvement, making it easier for people with disabilities to participate fully in society.
During this 30th anniversary of tge ADA, Biden has stated how the law has, also, extended civil rights protections to people with disabilities, ensuring they have equal opportunities in the workplace and other key areas.
Despite the significant progress made since its enactment, challenges remain. Advocates continue to push for better enforcement and further improvements to ensure full inclusion and equality for people with disabilities.
