Cali Fire Officials Report 3 Uncontained Fires• One Suspect Arrested For Setting Line Fire


STATE & NATIONAL: Today, California , Cali Fire officials have reported three major wildfires, each that are currently burning in Southern California and causing significant damage and prompting widespread evacuations.


In regard to Cali Fire reports, the fire has burned 32,905 acres and is only 14% contained. Line fires continue to threaten nearly 65,600 structures and have, also, led to evacuation orders for 13,300 structures, with another 52,300 under evacuation warnings.


In addition to having burned down the Angeles National Forest bridge, the fire in that region has grown to 34,240 acres with 0% containment. High winds and low humidity are contributing to its rapid spread.


The ongoing Cali-fire, straddling Orange and Riverside counties, has burned 19,028 acres including setting a blazing inferno at an Orange County airport. Today, the fires are, also at 0% containment and continues to threaten 10,500 structures while, having, already injured five firefighters and two civilians.


Authorities are mobilizing extensive resources, including thousands of firefighters, soldiers, law enforcement, and air assets, to combat these fires.


According to reports, police have arrested one man accused of having set a Line Fire. 34-year-old Justin Wayne Halstenberg has been arrested on suspicion of starting the string of Line fire.
