POLITICS: This week, US President Joe Biden visited with HBCU during the ceremony celebrating National HBCU Week. During the National HBCU Week Conference in Philadelphia, President Biden emphasized the critical role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in fostering diversity and inclusion in education and the workforce.

In celebration of the contribution to the U.S. education system and to the economic good, Biden highlighted the academic achievements of HBCUs and their partnerships with the federal government.
The President, also, addressed the recent overturning of affirmative action, stressing that the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion are under attack.
