POLITICS: On Friday, US President Joe Biden issued a cautionary message to US border agents instructing their yo cooperate with his plan for maintaining silence in regard to recent border terrorist threats. Most recently, there have been concerns about increased terror threats at the Mexico-US border.

This week, the news involving the testimony of former Border Patrol Chief Aaron Heitke made during a recent hearing provided information involving the White House instructions. Heitke indicated that White House officials indicated that President Biden ordered the terroristic threat reports to be kept u set wraps.
According to the comments made by the former Border Patrol Chief Heitke, the terroristic threats had been made by Special Interest Aliens; persons who are citizens of other countries. The report indicated that the SIAs expressed interest in border arrests
The apparent sordid threats have led to accusations that the administration is trying to downplay the threat to the public.
In response to the developing situation, FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed that the border crisis poses a significant homeland security threat, with nearly 1.8 million known “gotaways” —individuals who evaded capture. The numbers, according to Wray, are rising involving individuals on the terrorist watchlist being apprehended.
Despite these concerns, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been criticized for not providing clear answers on how these threats are being managed.
