Oprah Winfrey recently hosted the special event in Michigan alongside Vice President Kamala Harris’ “Unite for America” campaign.

The event covered a range of critical issues, including gun violence, abortion rights, and personal stories from individuals affected by these issues.
One particularly emotional segment involved the family of Amber Thurman, a woman who died due to complications from an abortion pill in Georgia. Her family shared their grief and frustration over the state’s strict abortion laws.
The event featured a live studio audience of about 400 people and a virtual audience of a thousand screens from across the country.
Oprah facilitated the discussion, drawing on her experience as a talk show host to create a dynamic and engaging environment. She highlighted the importance of grassroots support and voter engagement.
From the vantage point of the ‘ talk show’ setting, Oprah arranged for the Vice President to experience a more broad engagement with viewers.
