Netanyahu stated that he is “[C]ommitted to a deal, as long as Israel’s red lines are maintained.”
Earlier this week, Israel Prime Minister, Ben Netanyahu made a number of that which he refers to as ‘ non-negotiable demands…” approaching a ceasefire and hostage release
While it is the opinion by some that Netanyahu’s 4 tier demands are quite Israel-leaning, the most shocking to others is the Prime Minister’s demand for prohibiting weapons being placed in the hands ofthe opposition while demanding that Israel’s military maintains every liberty possible to continue active military force.
Netanyahu’s demands give the strongest impression that he is operating from the standpoint of extremism which may be more inclined to receive and blatant a refusal.
In Doha, McGurk and former Secretary of Treasury Jack Lee spoke with Israel Prime Minister, Netanyahu and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.
