"The United States had no part to play in that crash."--US Pentagon Secretary General Lloyd Austin III

Today, in Washington as the speculation continues top grow in regard to the Iran President and top officials' deadly crash, US Defense Secretary Austin stated the position taken by the United States indicating that the US has stood down involving the conflict between Iran and Israel. According to the decision by US President Joe Biden, the US has made every effort to avoid any potential for the Israel-Hamas war to become expansive. In regard to US involvement in the crash that killed President Risi, Austin commented that an investigation would have to be conducted to determine what transpired to cause the crash of the official Iran helicopter summing up any speculation of whether Israel might bare the brunt of fault for the Azerbaijan region crash.

There has been some concern among members of the current Washington State and Defense departments that Iran may aim their weapon of blame at the United States and Israel. While the possibility remains speculative on the part of Iranian leaders, today, whether war rival Israel played a role in the Iran President's crash, Israeli leader, Ben Netanyahu, has not made an internationally direct comment in that regard. Austin stated, yesterday, that the cause of the crash, as it remains unknown, could have been the cause of a mechanical malfunction or pilot error. The matter, today, remains uncertain.

In Iran, the Supreme Leader, ayatollah Khamenei, has taken steps to immediately supplant the nation's leadership appointing a vice president to assume a temporary seat at the head of government. Mohammad Mokhbar will assume the position as vice president, managing the executive branch. The nation of Iran will conduct a five day period of mourning.
