POLITICS: Today, a solemn Sunday as US President Joe Biden extends condolences in words of appreciation and kindness to a friend gone home. Prior to leaving the White House, today, to travel to the state of Virginia along with First Lady Dr Jill Biden, President Joe Biden made the following comments in regard to former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.

On Sunday, President Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden boarded Air Force 1 to travel to the Norfolk ,Va, military bases, The Biden's will visit the Naval Station Norfolk and the Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads.
During their visits to the Norfolk military bases, the President & First Lady will join members of the U.S. Navy in a pre- Thanksgiving Day celebration of this year's special holiday.
Today's NSN & NSAHR celebrations will welcome the President & First Lady to the Friendsgiving supper. The Biden's will be joined for the day by members of the US military and their families.
The Biden's are expected to return to Washington DC, the White House to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday at their home in Deleware.
The Biden's visit to Norfolk, Va, followed the annual official Turkey pardon that was held on the White House south lawn on November 17, 2023.
