NATION: Today, DNC Presumptive nominee for US President, Vice President Kamala Harris, speaks to the Zeta Phi Beta sorority in Indiana. Harris promoted the theme for the next Presidency, that being the preservation of the United States

To an absolutely roaring reception. Vice President joined the ZPB Sorority convention in Indianapolis expressing gratitude to ZPB President Stacy Grant and other ZPB officials. Vice President Harris also welcomed Opal Lee known as the grandmother of Juneteenth.
Vice President Harris stated that the vision of America’s future is that of promise in freedom and Justice.
In the US, Sororities, and Fraternities, among them, Zeta Phi Beta, have fought to preserve these rights of Americans to exercise their liberties. Along with that, these strong women have stood and fought to support the right for women to exercise every inherent freedom that is contained in the highest and most significant body of laws, the US Constitution.
Vice President Harris spoke of a future where health care is not a privilege, but is a right, a future where child poverty no longer exists , a future where medical debt can no longer be used against Americans Crefit scores.
Harris stated that she is fighting to end maternal mortality. Today, American women, especially black women , are among the highest numbers of women in the world who are more likely to die as a result of maternal mortality.
In addressing the problem, Harris stated that the Biden-Harris administration ensured that 42 states across the nation have extended postpartum health care to 12 months.
Stating that the nation will be moving forward opposing Project 2025 preventing the GOP’s efforts to cut Medicare, preventing the P2025 group from cutting Head-start programs for preK children. Harris stated that, while we are witnessing a full on attack on freedom, we are not going backward on the showboat floated by those who are pushing P2025.
The Vice President stands firm on the belief that every American has the right to vote and, in the plan for preserving democracy and freedom, Americans will preserve the right of every freedom including g that associated with the right to vote.
During her speech, Vice President echoed the plans established during the Biden-Harris administration stating that upon a well established platform form, the Harris administration will move the nation forward.
The Presumptive DNC nominee for President, Vice President Harris, takes every opportunity to reassure American voters that she stands for the rights and liberties ; the freedoms ofthe American people. Vice President Harris states to the Zeta Phi Beta sisters and others that she is fighting to preserve this nation, the United States of America.
