POLITICS: During the week, Vice President Kamala Harris held a tele-conference with President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine. The Vice President spoke with the Palestinian President in regard to matters associated with the Israeli-Palestinian war. Vice President Harris engaged in talks with Abbas as she traveled from Dubai following discussion that had been held in Dubai with United Arab Emirates officials.

On Sunday, Vice President Harris conducted a number of conference discussion -- those, particularly, associated with the ongoing war in Israel and Gaza. Vice President Harris reiterated the U.S. support to the people of Palestine while stating that Palestinian leaders must develop and plan for a clear, post-war governing agenda .
Harris indicated that the administration is deeply concerned for the matters that have the proclivity to develop following the war. Harris stated that the US supports a two party system that , also, establishes a " ... revitalized Palestinian authority..." in the West Bank and Gaza.
Harris recommended travels to Zusrael by National Security Adviser, Phil Gordon. Gordon's visit will result in the administering of further discussion on resolutions.
Vice President Harris informed President Abbas that Gordon's visit to Israel and the Wedt Bank will be effective in responding to concerns involving the 'day after' planning.
